ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE
ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS THROUGH 5 PM. THE STORMS
WILL BE CONCENTRATED FROM THE MOUNT VERNON AND CASSVILLE AREAS
EAST TO AVA AND GAINESVILLE. ADDITIONAL STORMS WILL LIKELY
DEVELOP ACROSS FAR SOUTHWEST MISSOURI NEAR THE HIGHWAY 71
CORRIDOR...AND ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI FROM ROLLA TO WEST
PLAINS THROUGH 5 PM. THE STRONGER STORMS WILL PRODUCE HAIL...WIND
GUSTS TO 50 MPH...TORRENTIAL RAINFALL AND FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING. THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE RAINFALL AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF
AN INCH IN LESS THAN AN HOUR WHICH COULD RESULT IN LOCALIZED
FLOODING. THE STORMS WILL REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY.
