This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant frost and freeze risk.

DISCUSSION...

Frost and temperatures at or below freezing are possible over
mainly the eastern Ozarks tonight into Tuesday morning. Those
with temperature sensitive plants outdoors will need to bring
them in.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Gusty southerly winds will develop across the area on
Wednesday, with gusts around 30 mph possible at times. These
gusty winds combined with dry conditions could lead to an
elevated fire danger Wednesday afternoon.

Shower and thunderstorm chances will return to the region
Wednesday evening into Thursday. If enough instability can
develop, some of the stronger storms may approach severe limits
over southwest Missouri.

Additional thunderstorms will be possible Saturday night into
Sunday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
