URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Springfield MO
934 PM CST Wed Feb 6 2019

...Significant Ice and Sleet Accumulations Expected...

.A stalled frontal boundary will remain draped from southwest to
northeast across the Missouri Ozarks tonight. Low pressure will
then track along this front and through the Ozarks late tonight
and Thursday morning. As the low passes, the front will quickly
move southeast ushering in a much colder airmass. Periods of
freezing rain and sleet, along with a few thunderstorms, will
continue overnight across extreme southeastern Kansas and west-
central Missouri. Significant accumulations of freezing rain and
sleet are expected generally north of a Joplin to Stockton to
Versailles line. Lighter amounts of freezing rain and sleet are
expected from late tonight into Thursday morning as far southeast
as a Galena to Hartville to Rolla line.
