This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited hail risk.
Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk.
Significant lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

While the overall severe weather threat will continue to diminish
overnight, a few strong to marginally severe storms with hail to
the size of quarters and damaging winds to 60 mph will be possible
for a few more hours across far Southeast Kansas and far western
Missouri. Other thunderstorms across the area will have the
potential to produce a significant amount of cloud to ground
lightning and brief heavy rainfall.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Periodic thunderstorm chances will then occur through the
remainder of the week. At this time lightning looks to be the main
risk.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight since the
severe threat is diminishing.
