This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Elevated lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

A cluster of showers and thunderstorms will move into the area
from the west after midnight. Cloud to ground lightning will be
the primary threat however some small hail will be possible in a
few of the more intense storms. Locations west of US Highway 65
have the highest chances of seeing showers and storms Overnight.
Severe weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

South winds gusting to 30 to 35 mph are expected during the day
Friday and Saturday over southeast Kansas and adjacent areas in
western Missouri.

Thunderstorm chances increase once again early next work week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
