This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited hail risk.
Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk.
Limited flooding risk.
Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

A cluster of thunderstorms will continue to diminish early
this morning across southern Missouri. Cloud to ground
lightning and locally heavy rainfall will be the main
potential hazards with these storms. Localized flash flooding
will be possible this morning across south-central Missouri.

Additional widely scattered thunderstorms will then be possible
from this afternoon into tonight. An isolated strong to severe
storm or two will be possible, mainly along and south of the
Interstate 44 corridor from this afternoon into this evening.
Hail up to the size of quarters, damaging wind gusts to 60 mph,
frequent cloud to ground lightning, and locally heavy rainfall
will be the primary potential hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Periodic thunderstorm chances will then occur into early next
week. At this time, lightning looks to be the main potential
hazard.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
