This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Limited Hail risk.
Limited Thunderstorm wind damage risk.
Elevated Lightning risk.
Limited Non thunderstorm wind risk.

DISCUSSION...

Wind gusts up to 35 mph will be possible across southeast
Kansas and southwest Missouri this afternoon.

Showers and thunderstorms will move into southeast Kansas and
west central Missouri after Midnight. While a majority of the
storms will remain below severe limits...an isolated strong to
severe thunderstorm with hail to the size of quarters and
damaging wind gusts to 60 mph will be possible along and north
of interstate 44.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms will be possible
Sunday and lasting into Monday. An isolated strong to severe
thunderstorm south of US Highway 54 will be possible Sunday
afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rainfall and isolated
flooding will also be possible Sunday as multiple rounds of
rainfall affect the area.

Additional showers and thunderstorms will be possible several
days mid to late next week.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
