DISCUSSION...

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING HOURS ACROSS THE OUTLOOK AREA. HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND
LIGHTNING WILL PRIMARY POTENTIAL HAZARDS. A FEW OF THE STRONGER
STORMS COULD PRODUCE WINDS TO 50 MPH...ESPECIALLY ACROSS SOUTH
CENTRAL MISSOURI.

THE COVERAGE OF STORMS WILL DECREASE AFTER SUNSET THIS
EVENING...BUT A FEW STORMS WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE INTO THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA.

A BAND OF SHOWERS AND STORMS IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP FROM NORTH
CENTRAL OKLAHOMA INTO NORTHERN MISSOURI TONIGHT. THE SOUTHERN
EDGE OF THIS ACTIVITY MAY AFFECT PORTIONS OF EXTREME
SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI RESULTING IN THE
POTENTIAL FOR LOCALIZED FLOODING WHERE STORMS TRACK ACROSS THE
SAME LOCATIONS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

ADDITIONAL STORMS WILL DEVELOP DURING THE EARLY AND MIDDLE
PORTIONS OF THE WEEK. CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING AND HEAVY

AND DAMAGING WIND GUSTS NORTH OF A LINE FROM GIRARD KANSAS TO
SALEM MISSOURI. SOME LOCALIZED HEAVY RAIN MAY ALSO OCCUR OVER
PARTS OF CENTRAL MISSOURI.

THERE IS A CHANCE FOR A COMPLEX OF STORMS TO MOVE INTO PORTIONS OF
EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND CENTRAL MISSOURI AGAIN LATE
TONIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY. DUE TO MARGINAL INSTABILITY...IF THIS
